Payment
Catherine receives payment for her time per session. Cash Payment or Bank Transfer will be gratefully accepted for Catherine's time and energy.

NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) was originally created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the mid 1970’s. They developed a set of techniques by studying very successful therapists, Milton Erickson and Virginia Satir, and incorporated the ideas of Fritz Pearls and Gregory Bateson to create models (or patterns) to help people to make incredible shifts in their life. NLP encompasses both a philosophy and cognitive behavioral psychology approach to change.
NLP is a way of exploring how people think, identifying success and then applying these successful actions or beliefs in ways which work for the individual. NLP is widely utilised in management training, life coaching, and the self-help industry.
Different individuals represent their world in different sensory modalities – sight, sound, feeling/touch taste and smell. Their language and behaviour reveals their representation. Often communication difficulties are little more than two people speaking in incompatible representation system.
Catherine has completed a NLP Practitioner Certificate with the Australian Success Institute and includes NLP methods and practices in her coaching work when the need arises.
Catherine states, “I have noticed a distinct difference in an individual’s disposition and behaviour when they choose to change behaviour patterns for their better wellbeing.”

Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a mental state or imaginative role-enactment. It is usually induced by a procedure known as a hypnotic induction, which is commonly composed of a long series of preliminary instructions and suggestions. Hypnotic suggestions may be delivered by a hypnotist in the presence of the subject, or may be self-administered. The use of hypnotism for therapeutic purposes is referred to as "hypnotherapy".
The words hypnosis and hypnotism both derive from the term neuro-hypnotism (nervous sleep) coined by the Scottish surgeon James Braid around 1841.
"Hypnotism" is a state of physical relaxation accompanied and induced by mental concentration. The word "hypnosis" (from the Greek hypnos, "sleep") is an abbreviation of James Braid's (1841) term "neuro-hypnotism", meaning "sleep of the nervous system".
Hypnotherapy is often applied in order to modify a subject's behavior, emotional content, and attitudes, as well as a wide range of conditions including dysfunctional habits, anxiety, stress-related illness, pain management, and personal development.
